If you’re thinking about creating video content to publish on your blog, then you’re certainly making the right move. Having video content is going to be a tremendous opportunity for you to boost your traffic and increase your following – but for that to happen, your video content needs to stand out and look great.

With these three tips, you’ll be able to ensure that the video content you create is a step above the majority of your competition:

Don’t try to come up with a completely new and original idea that has never been done before. While it would be nice, it is going to take up a lot of time, and you may not get anywhere. Instead, focus on an issue in your niche that people are already talking about and create a video that will add to the conversation or help solve a problem related to it.

  • Keep the video short, tight and to the point

Gone are the days when longer videos with more content were considered ‘better’. Nowadays it is best to keep your videos short (about a minute or so) and tightly focused on the topic that they’re dealing. Frankly, shorter videos are better suited for social media as well. Considering the video isn’t long you will want to get to the point sooner rather than later, and not waste too much time on a lengthy introduction.

  • Take a close look at the audio quality

All too often video content creators get so caught up in the quality of their videos that they forget about the audio quality. Having a muffled voiceover or lots of background noise is going to detract from the video content you publish on your blog – so be sure to look at it carefully, and fix it if required or invest in a better microphone that will be able to record clear voiceovers.

  • Experiment with different styles of video content

Depending on the niche and topic, different styles of video content may perform better. Sometimes it can be obvious that a certain style such as a screen capture tutorial or ‘talking head’ video blog will be ideal, such as for video software guides or roundtable discussions. In other cases, however, you may want to experiment and try out different styles until you find one that performs well.

  • Spin off the video to use on different platforms

The video content that you create from your blog can also be re-used on social media and video distribution websites – but when you do that you will want to spin it off and create a new version. Different platforms have different tastes when it comes to the length and style of the video – so creating spin-offs that cater to that (and then link back to the original) would be best.

  • Only use special effects when it adds to the video

One of the mistakes many new content creators tend to make is they get so excited at being able to add special effects and end up going overboard. If you do use special effects it should be tasteful – and must add to the video in some way. For example, using a zoom-in video effect to focus on a particular element is great, but zooming in for no reason whatsoever other than to create a ‘cool’ effect may hurt more than it helps.

If you’re thinking about creating video guides or tutorials for your blog using screen capture, be sure to make use of Movavi Screen Capture Studio. Not only is it easy to use, but it will help you to create great-looking videos without requiring any prior experience.

Within Movavi Screen Capture Studio you’ll also have access to numerous video editing features. By using them to cut and combine video segments, enhance the video quality, add customizable text, insert audio tracks and apply special effects and filters, you’ll be able to tweak your video until you’re happy with it.

When you create video content using Movavi Screen Capture Studio, you will be able to make sure it looks amazing and really does stand out. After you’re done, the presets built into the software will also make it easy for you to save and optimise your video content for any device and platform – including video sharing platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, and so on.

Of course, you may want to look into some of the other ways in which you can use Movavi Screen Capture Studio on a day to day basis, including saving online video streams to watch Netflix offline, recording Skype calls, and so on.

To capture Netflix videos using Movavi Screen Capture Studio is really very straightforward. Essentially all you need to do is set the capture frame to encompass the Netflix video, check the audio source is set to ‘System Audio’ and start to record as the video begins playing.

Once the recording is done, you can save it immediately. Alternatively, you could use the other features in Movavi Screen Capture Studio to edit it by trimming out any excess video that was recorded by accident.

In any case, it is easy to see why Movavi Screen Capture Studio will certainly prove to be an asset. Just give it a try and you’ll be able to experience how easy it is to create video content or record videos using

  1. Hi Reji,

Video is definitely an asset to a blog! One of my big issues when I started recording video was the audio quality since I talk so soft it was hard for the microphone to capture. You must pay attention to the audio to make sure it’s of good quality and if you’re posting to YouTube it could affect the rating.

Movavei sounds interesting. Although it didn’t realize you could screen record Netflix movies. You would think that Netflix wouldn’t approve of that.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Lillian

Truly, Video content is a living part on your blog and that can improve the bounce rate very well. If you focus on the quality and the problem-solving factor, you gonna attract a lot of viewers and readers for your blog.
One more thing I would like to add into the post is “keeping it short” is one more key to success in video publishing and marketing.

  5. People take in visual information much faster than written communication. Youtube is the place to be if you are thinking of creating video content. Setting up youtube channel is quick and easy and it opens the conventional door to a global audience. You can create a list of what you want to discuss instead of writing a full script this can stop you from talking naturally and with passion. Make sure to include a powerful call-to-action this helps guide your audience through the sign-up or buying process.
