Easily accessible television on more than 20 devices

It is fascinating to imagine those days when television was like an unavoidable ritual when it was first introduced in India. Thinking back to those days when the entire neighborhood crowded around a single, box-like TV with a tiny screen and basic picture quality to watch those epic TV shows or sports matches, seems like a bygone era. However, television is not a luxury now but a necessity. For people with tight schedules, every single day, it is impossible to sit around waiting for certain shows to be aired. Television content providers have smartly adapted to online streaming of TV shows, News broadcast, Daily Soaps, Documentaries, Movies, Live Matches and practically every single television program available.

The biggest source of customer base and demand for television content that has steadily been growing at an alarming pace is the Non-Resident Indian community settled in countries like UK, USA, Canada, and Australia who are desperately in need of regular and affordable access to native TV shows as a means of being connected to their roots and for exposing their children to their native lifestyles, cultures, and traditions. As a way of serving this growing demand, television content providers who cater specifically to this audience have emerged, who have combined superior user experience and technological convenience so that customers can watch and enjoy their favourite shows at their preferred time and on the device/app of their choice.

Mr. Uday Reddy hailing from Veenavanka, a village in Karimnagar district in the state of Telangana in India, grabbed this stellar business prospect to make television content viewing much easier for Indians abroad who terribly miss their home television, language, and lifestyles. His Over-The-Top (OTT) provider YuppTV has become the world’s largest provider of Indian Television Content to NRI audiences. He is the Founder and CEO of YuppTV, and he has made YuppTV the best in its niche by simply offering convenience through technology to viewers, which is the sole determinant of the success of any Business today.

YuppTV devices exceed more than 20 in number, including Android Devices, Windows 10 Devices and Apple Devices spanning all iPhone, iPads, and iPod models. They are also fully compatible with all major television sets such as Samsung Smart TV, LG, Sony Bravia Smart TV, Panasonic Smart TV, Vizio and Hisense. That’s not all! YuppTV also features on all major TV media players like Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Telstra TV, TiVo, Nexus Player, Neo TV, Western Digital, Roku, and Google TV. Wait, there’s more! You can also avail YuppTV services as an App on Xbox 360, PlayStation, and Opera TV Store to watch all your favorite shows at your convenience without the slightest worry about place or time constraints.

YuppTV also has their very own YuppTV Media Player for a dedicated streaming experience. Whew! That is a lot of YuppTV devices. No other IPTV Streaming Devices or IPTV Streaming Players offer this level of versatility when it comes to User Experience. There are several other IPTV providers in the market like Reliable IPTV, ZengaTV, etc. that do not support multiple devices and platforms and offer much less adaptability and UX. They also do not have variety in content like YuppTV does. The only downside of YuppTV, when compared to other IPTV providers, is that they have a slightly higher priced device fee and they do not offer VOIP phone packages for International Calling.

Now, let’s talk about the best aspects of YuppTV. Before gauging the amazing features of YuppTV, you can go to the website and see for yourself how easy it is to choose from so many Indian, particularly South Indian Languages, Channels, Movies, and Subscription options. The website layout itself is very user-friendly. They have a list of comprehensive and highly curated tele-content in more than 10 Indian languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Oriya, Gujarati, Bhojpuri and of course, English.

We have already seen YuppTV’s accessibility on various media platforms. They also have different membership options including Free access and Premium Subscriptions that you can customise per the devices you want and choice of content. They also have special viewing options called CatchUp and YuppFlix for watching shows and episodes that you missed as well as for movie access.

What has made YuppTV the ultimate and most sought-after provider of South-Asian tele-content to NRI’s is their high-quality picture and sound that seamlessly adapts with different YuppTV Devices,IPTV streaming players and IPTV streaming Devices, among other factors. User Experience and User Interface is by far, YuppTV’s area of expertise when compared to other IPTV service providers. Their UI has a very Responsive Design that keeps the actual content into the focus, thus being very visually appealing to audiences.

The entire framework of YuppTV was built from scratch and is simple and straightforward, which is, after all, the best way to engage viewers. YuppTV’s customers have been very positive in their reviews and have always come back for more. Depending on the Country, you can schedule your Content Viewing Time and membership preferences, accordingly.

YuppTV has amazing Customer Service always; that is sadly absent in ordinary IPTV service providers. They have toll free numbers and 24/7 support to issues pertaining to any aspect related to YuppTV by a team of well-trained, friendly, and helpful staff. YuppTV is a global service that you can access from anywhere in the world if you have a working Internet Connection and appropriate subscriptions. YuppTV has garnered wide popularity and acclaim which has motivated them to expand their services by collaborating with leading Indian Tele-providers like Star and Zee.

YuppTV also acquired broadcasting rights to the USA-T20 matches and very recently collaborated with Culture Machine for making their hit channels like Being Indian, Epified, Old Delhi Films, Put Chutney, Blush, Rascals, Being Indian’s Awesome Sauce, Whack, and VIVA available to customers. And finally, after conquering the globe, YuppTV launched in India with a bang on the 12th of October 2015. YuppTV is doing a great job by getting NRI audiences closer to their beloved homeland and by taking Indian Tele-Content far across the globe.

  • Hi Reji Sir,

I once tried it on my phone but when I saw it gives low speed and streaming is mostly buffering, I started hating it. I am not sure how to view TV in the normal speed as my connection is very fast.

    • Hi Vashishtha,

Happy to see you after a little gap. Regarding the YuppTV, I never experienced much problems while watching it in mobile as well as in laptops. But some times freezing of Internet Protocol Televsion channels freeze due to router issues also. Probably a different router may solve the problem.

Looking forward to see your visits again in this blog. Have a great time blogging.

      Best regards

  • Hi Reji.
Happy to be here again after a bit gap.
Yes, as you said those grand old days are gone, and it is really fascinating to recollect those days. But now the fast growing technology has made lot of wonders in each and every field. Especially the tremendous changes happening in the field of communication and broadcasting is amazing indeed!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful review, the post covered a lot of information about YuppTV. Though i have used this several times earlier for watching some special programs which were not available on our regular TV I never knew that it is the brain child of a Telanganaite. It is indeed a joy to know that the founder of YuppTV Mr. Uday Reddy hails from my own state. That is really a wonderful news too.
Thanks Reji for sharing thesevaluable information thru this well explained review. I am sure the NRIs can have a best use of this wonderful option.
    Keep sharing.
May you have a great time of sharing ahead.
    Best Regards.
